At Imanadari Counselling, we ask for payments based on income and circumstance. If you are able to get a Mental Health Care Plan or an ATAPS referral from your GP, this will help cover the cost of your session.
For individuals who may have difficulty getting to the practice, or who are located outside of NSW we offer a both telephone and online counselling. Face to face home visits can be arranged, but require discussion with your counsellor to ensure that this is the most suitable option for you.
Please note that Skype sessions are not eligible for medicare rebates.
We now accept EFTPOS and credit card payments as well as cash. If you are requesting bulk billing you will need to provide a referral letter from your GP, and please bring your medicare card.
It is important to us that clients in need receive help and we strive not to turn away clients because of financial difficulty. If you have any concerns about your ability to pay we can discuss referral options or a payment plan before our first session.
In those rare circumstances when we are unable to take on a client who is experiencing financial difficulty, we will attempt find another appropriate service for them. Professionals from that service will be welcome to join our supervision group free of charge.
Please advise of any need to reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior so that other clients can use this time. If less than 24 hours notice is given for a cancellation, then a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost will be charged. In the case of extraordinary or unforeseen circumstances this fee may be waved, at the discretion of the psychologist.
If for any reason your appointment is cancelled by us we will contact you to reschedule, and any payment you have made will carry over to the next appointment.
