Imanadari is a Hindi word which can be    interpreted as meaning integrity,        honesty, truthfulness and                           sincerity. Essentially Imanadari             is about being true to        your self.

Within Sydney and Outside Sydney

Rates based on income

At Imanadari Counselling, we ask for payments based on income and circumstance. If you are able to get a Mental Health Care Plan or an ATAPS referral from your GP, this will help cover the cost of your session.

Home visits and telephone/online counselling

For individuals who may have difficulty getting to the practice, or who are located outside of NSW we offer a both telephone and online counselling. Face to face home visits can be arranged, but require discussion with your counsellor to ensure that this is the most suitable option for you.

Please note that Skype sessions are not eligible for medicare rebates.

Brief consultations
It is important to ensure that there is a good fit between client and counsellor before committing to work together. In acknowledgement of this, prior to your first session you can contact your preferred psychologist for a brief, 15 minute phone consultation that will be free of charge.
Payment

We now accept EFTPOS and credit card payments as well as cash. If you are requesting bulk billing you will need to provide a referral letter from your GP, and please bring your medicare card.

It is important to us that clients in need receive help and we strive not to turn away clients because of financial difficulty. If you have any concerns about your ability to pay we can discuss referral options or a payment plan before our first session.

In those rare circumstances when we are unable to take on a client who is experiencing financial difficulty, we will attempt find another appropriate service for them. Professionals from that service will be welcome to join our supervision group free of charge.

Cancellations

Please advise of any need to reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior so that other clients can use this time. If less than 24 hours notice is given for a cancellation, then a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost will be charged. In the case of extraordinary or unforeseen circumstances this fee may be waved, at the discretion of the psychologist.

If for any reason your appointment is cancelled by us we will contact you to reschedule, and any payment you have made will carry over to the next appointment.

Private clients - if you are unable to attend your appointment due to foreseeable circumstance, we request 24hrs notice. This allows us to rebook your appointment time for any clients requiring emergency counselling.

If you need to cancel due to unforeseeable circumstances such as illness or car trouble, please let us know at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. If you do not attend your appointment, or cancel with less than 2 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the session fee.

Bulk billed clients - Bulk bill clients cannot be charged a cancellation fee. However, counsellors may suspend bulk billing at their discretion if several bulk billed sessions are missed with less than 2 hours notice. If bulk billing is suspended, you will be charged a $1 gap for your sessions and provided with a receipt after each session that can be claimed through Medicare.
