At Imanadari Counselling, we ask for payments based on income and circumstance. If you are able to get a Mental Health Care Plan or an PSS referral from your GP, this will help cover the cost of your session.
For individuals who may have difficulty getting to the practice, or who are located outside of NSW we offer a both telephone and online counselling. Face to face home visits can be arranged, but require discussion with your counsellor to ensure that this is the most suitable option for you.
Please note that Skype sessions are not eligible for medicare rebates.
We now accept EFTPOS and credit card payments as well as cash. Please note that not all of our practitioners can bulk bill, please check with your individual therapist. If you are requesting bulk billing you will need to provide a referral letter from your GP, and please bring your medicare card.
It is important to us that clients in need receive help and we strive not to turn away clients because of financial difficulty. If you have any concerns about your ability to pay we can discuss referral options or a payment plan before our first session.
In those rare circumstances when we are unable to take on a client who is experiencing financial difficulty, we will attempt find another appropriate service for them. Professionals from that service will be welcome to join our supervision group free of charge.
In general, we request 24 hours' notice for a cancellation so we can offer the appointment time to someone in need. Cancellations occurring under 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee.
In line with session fees, cancellation fees differ slightly between practitioners. Your counsellor will provide a written cancellation policy for you to keep, and also explain their cancellation fee verbally during your first session.
